Common Lisp interpreter for DOS?

I am using CLISP on my linux machine to learn the language. I would also like to have a Common Lisp interpreter on my 486 machine, DOS 6.22. Was there ever a CLISP version for DOS? Looking for something free and that will fit on a 1.44MB floppy.

I never had a machine to run it, but there was a PC-Lisp by Peter Asherwood-Smith for that class of machines. You might be able to find a copy somewhere.

It would be good for a bit of nostalgia. It wouldn't be good for a development environment.

I once tried SSCL in DOSBox, there are also non-free versions e.g. GCLISP. When I was porting ccmake (part of the cmake) to DOS, for a moment I had an intention to port a mature CL implementation (such as SBCL) to DOS, but I resigned from it because of its complexity.
Note aside: I had found and used Ufasoft for Win CE.

cl-2dsyntax is my attempt to create a Python-like reader. My mirror of CLHS (and the dark themed version). Temporary mirrors of aferomentioned: CLHS and a dark version.
