I would suggest ltk if you are interested in portability. A lot (all?) of the gtk bindings
do not work in windows or osx. LTK works everywhere and is extremely stable/high quality.

I think the "try to return something useful" approach that you advocate here has no place in common lisp. CL may have a couple of inconsistencies but the spec is one of extremely high quality compared to the horrors of php where this "context sensitive" philosophy is embraced. Solutions to this non-...
