You might want to have a look at this book:

Structure and Interpretation of Classical Mechanics. Gerald Jay Sussman and Jack Wisdom with Meinhard E. Mayer. xxi + 534 pp. MIT Press. 2001.

The programs are written in Scheme rather than Common Lisp, but that's a lot closer than Fortran or Java.
