Hey friends , can I ask Prolog doubts over here?
I want to learn it in 2-3 days maximum.

So that I have basic knowledge of it.

So I heard best way is by asking doubts and discussing with other people :)

Here we are in The Lounge, it seams ok. I personally don't mind prolog oriented discussions here.

Hi. There are some good tutorials online. But it what exactly do you want to learn in 2 - 3 days?

This is a wide area for exploring.
Also which prolog interpreter to use.

Of course in 2 days you can learn the rules. It's possible to teach someone chess in 30 minutes so I guess you can learn prolog in 2 days, limited to "primitives, means of combination, and means of abstraction".
As with the new chess player won't be a good chess player you wont be that good in prolog after just two days. With 10 years experience with either programming or chess you might do better than just know the basics though :-)

If you know Lisp you could benefit from seeing the SICP videoes where they make a logic lanaguge that works the same way as prolog:

Given that the original question was asked a year ago, it would be interesting what emerald123 has learned so far. If it's possible to learn anything within two days emerald123 today must be an expert in each and everything at all. :D
