I have been having a hard time find a way to download common lisp onto my mint linux OS.
I opened the software manager did a search for common lisp the top result was:
acl2
"a computational logic for applicative common lisp: main"
Is there any other way to get common lisp to work on mint?

I assume the main problem is meanwhile solved:
The CLiki provides an overview where you can get all free Common Lisp implementations for Linux and other operating systems.
